  • You do not have to attend all activities, no. However, we have built each activity into the registration cost, so we encourage you to attend as much as possible. However, this is totally up to you and if you need to opt out of an activity at any time, we fully support you to honour what you feel like doing as each day unfolds.

  • Our talented local Chef will be nourishing us with meals that include grains, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh caught seafood, chicken and more. All of the meals will be carefully prepared with the utmost attention to beauty and your health. All meals will be organic.

  • Yes, the Chef can accommodate special diets other than celiac. If you require a special diet menu, there may be an additional fee - please let us know when you book and we will send you some options to select from.

  • Th closest Airport is PVR - in Puerto Vallarta. We will arrange transportation from the airport to the retreat accommodation for an additional fee, or you can take a cab.

    There are 3 rooms, each with double occupancy.  We welcome couples and individuals. All retreat guests will have the entire house and property to themselves.

    Other things to note:

    The property has spacious sundecks, which allow guests to enjoy the luscious weather and feel the ocean breeze from the comfort of the property while feeling like they are on the beach.

    The property is blocks away from uncrowded natural beach for guests enjoyment. Golf cart provided.

    The area is safe, easy to access via the PVR (Puerto Vallarta) airport, and has all amenities that one could need for their stay in the Bay. 

    The weather in December is perfect - things are beginning to cool down after a warm, wet summer, and the plants are bright green, healthy and lush. Average daytime temperatures during this time average around 25C/ 77F. 

    Nayarit Mexico is a well-visited area for tourists, and is populated with many permanent residents from Canada and the US, to name a few. In most cases, you will find everything that you might need in the area. Note that we have also included this "what to pack" list, for you convenience.

  • To enter Mexico, your passport needs to be valid for 6 months.

    Visas are generally not required, but this is based on your citizenship. Canadians and US Citizens are free to travel to Mexico.

    Citizens of some parts of Eastern Europe and Latin America, and some African and Asian nations, may need a VISA, while others can apply for a visa on arrival. Check the Mexican Foreign Ministry website HERE.

  • Transportation to and from the retreat is not included in the price, but can be arranged for a fee of $160 USD. Cabs are also available.

    Guests are free to check-in at the accommodation after 3pm on the day before the retreat starts.

  • In addition to your standard packing list items, please refer to our packing checklist to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us!

    ATM: Make sure to get out enough cash at the airport before you leave as we dont plan to take many trips to ATM’s.

    There are general stores close by, and we will be taking trips to them.

    In addition we recommend the following:

    Bring eco-friendly toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, etc. as much as possible.

    Bring a re-usable water bottle (we provide drinking water for refilling).

    Bring a re-usable shopping bag instead of getting plastic bags at markets.
